Airport Berlin Tegel
Check in and Ticket Counter made of Fiberglass
1974

Shortly after Frankfurt airport was finish, Berlin Tegel airport was under construction. A company in Berlin received the order to make counter in Berlin. They had lack of experience and asked us to make them molds. I returned my OK for making molds if I could get also a portion of the manufacturing job. This was confirmed and we made about 250 check in counters and a long row of ticket sales counter, as can be seen at the two pictures on the left. In addition we got a large order to make 3 angular flowerpots and 12 guard houses around that airport.

While the check in counter where build as islands in the octagonal building, the ticket sales counter in the central building where installed in a very long row of counters divided in sections for the individual airlines and tourist companies,
